I have made a project about how People with diseases around the globe become better and even free of symptoms. This knowledge I have transformed to an online course.
With the knowledge from this course you can kickstart your own journey towards better health
I call it the “HOPE shortcut”.
Knowledge is always the fastest way to succes
People are often stuck in their beliefs and disease. They do not think they can get better. By giving them hope, they can switch to an active gear, where they have more control. Therefore, hope is the very first thing to implement. Yes, you can get better!
In the first week, I will give you new hope.
In weeks 2-4, you will learn to fill out a diary to keep track of symptoms to find the situations that give you peak symptoms.
Through this process, you become aware that peak symptoms do not come randomly.
In week 5, I will tell you about the four different healing strategies people worldwide use to get better.
After this, you can easily choose two of the strategies and implement them in your daily life
In week 6, I will give you two tools to put more power behind your healing.
You will get the willpower to start your journey towards better health. After this, you are ready for the persistent work towards better health
For ten years I have collected knowledge about how people around the world get better from chronic diseases. This knowledge is now available for you in my online course to shortcut the process to better health.
To get better, you need to go through a four-step process:
H: Get new hope – of course you can get better. Learn a new way of thinking about symptoms
O: Observe your symptoms – so you know if your symptoms are decreasing or not. Notice the variation and be aware of which situations that make your symptoms flare up
P: Pacify your symptoms. Learn about the 4 strategies that people around the world use to reduce symptoms
E: Engage yourself – Get extra motivation to start the job and be persistent on your journey to better health
As knowledge is a shortcut in any change in life and HOPE for the better is essential to start, this is why I call my course the HOPE Shortcut
By joining the HOPE Shortcut, you can learn how to reduce stress and pressure, and manage the powerful emotions in your life.
Often there are physical symptoms associated with stress, and if those symptoms are very persistent, we call it a disease.
Give yourself a chance to find out how much your symptoms decrease as you become more and more stress-free.
I have tested The HOPE Shortcut method to ensure an effective improvement as we track your symptoms. We will find the root cause of the biggest peak in symptoms during your weekly activities.
You will quickly notice an improvement due to decreased symptoms if you do the work.
This concept has been tested on several types of chronic disease, e.g., Parkinson’s disease – I know it works for everyone. Stress is a big payer in modern life.
Below you can hear Kathy a few month into her HOPEshortcut journey.
On my youtube channel you can find her after one year, a lot healthier, close to normal.
Anna, who has Parkinson’s disease, writes about the course:
“I love this course. I’ve read everything, and I’ve seen all the videos. I like that Lilian articulates the problems I have. The more knowledge, the better it is for me. I love that there is a lot of information.
This course deserves attention.
I would be incredibly sorry if I did not get the full benefit of all the things that stand out. There is a lot of knowledge. It’s rock solid. It takes some time and dedication because it is just like dieting; you have to do the work.”
Anna has now reduced her symptoms in certain situations and is now aware of how her mental state affects her physical disease.

This concept has helped people with Parkinson’s achieve a 2/3 reduction of their original symptoms.
Chronic symptoms like tremors, pain, or fatigue can feel overwhelming, but there’s hope. Most chronic illnesses are linked to stress, and by learning to manage it, you can reduce symptoms and reclaim your joy.
Did you know that most chronic diseases are closely linked to stress? Instead of focusing solely on your diagnosis, addressing stress can significantly reduce symptoms and improve your quality of life. In this workshop, you’ll:
This is your chance to take the first step toward a healthier, happier you.

When you are diagnosed with Parkinsons and wish to infuse your life and being with hope, when you want to step out of the self-fulfilling prophecy of things just getting worse and worse:
I’m deeply impressed by the dedication of both Lilian Sjoeberg and Gary Sharpe. They are a great team, complementing each other.
The course has a well-structured approach, with (scientific) information and practice, where e.g. we get and practice valuable tools for working with beliefs and mindset, and dealing with stress, for de-stressing.
Having participated in the course, I feel better indeed with hope, taking the priority of health in my own hands, greater vitality and a more joyful mindset. Thank you!

A lot of people with Parkinson’s don’t realize that they have these stress conditions, they say, I’m not under stress. So you just point out how to unravel it and also give you hope

The fellow travelers aspect of this group is very important. Being part of this community is helpful as we all strive for the same goals, despite having different symptoms and experiences.
Hello Lilian, I want you to know that I feel that I benefitted a lot from your course, “Overcoming Chronic Illness.” It opened me to BEING ALIVE in a more relaxed, open and observant way.
Thanks to you, I am no longer “stuck in perpetual frustration” about everything!
And believe me, that is a monumental improvement!
New sources of frustration pop up minute by minute, and surely always will. But I’ve learned that I don’t have to react negatively and feel perpetually resentful about any or all of them. And that is much better than my previous “chronic frustration.”

The underlying theory and philosophy make total sense to me, which makes it so clear what one needs to do to improve and get better.
The information is so valuable and ground-breaking, and if the medical profession were only more open-minded everyone could have this wonderful opportunity to turn the condition around and return to full health. Thank you so much Lilian.
You are a lifesaver in every sense of the word, and I am so very grateful and appreciative both of the enormous amount of work and research that you have put into the setting up of this course, and the fact that you are also accessible and so generous with your time
My three top points from the course are:

The strategies that Lillian introduces are effective in helping me, for example, reducing the the symptomology that I have, such as tremoring that you recognize. And you document when tremoring is worse, when it’s less. And then you start looking at what you’re thinking about the environment that you’re in, and how it affects your internal thinking, and how it affects your healthy being. Some of those incidences block you, you’re not really aware of, because they’re blind spots. Lillian helps us look at these areas that are blind to us as well.
The course looks at the idea of the fight flight and freeze syndrome and being stuck in it, and the general cases that we are in a place of chronic stress.
What it helps us do is to recognize some of these blocks that we have, and these stressors that we have, and take a look at it and go into a deep dive and kind of dismantle it.
So it help us recognize some of our areas that we need to work on.

I’ve been very out of touch with my own voice, often ignoring it and later regretting it. Now, I can hear and trust myself rather than the constant criticism.
I have always believed I can do everything on my own and didn’t want to be a bother. However, I’ve realized I’m stuck and need to confront what I’ve avoided my whole life.
Avoiding asking for help and remaining quiet in groups has been a huge problem. This group has allowed me to practice finding and using support, which has been empowering.

I’m an MSc in Biology turned certified coach and therapist who has spent the last decade helping people with chronic symptoms uncover stress-driven roots of their conditions.
After a personal crisis when my husband was diagnosed with cancer, I began investigating how prolonged survival-mode stress drives chronic symptoms and diseases. In 2015 I ran a pilot with people living with Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, burning mouth syndrome and PTSD showed consistent symptom reductions using stress-informed coaching approaches.
I wrote a book based on client interviews, figured out the theory behind chronic illness and build up knowledge and a toolbox for people to use even they have severe diagnoses, and now run live Overcome courses, 1:1 symptom therapy and free HOPE workshops.
If people with Parkinson’s can get help so can you.
It is time to spread this knowledge to all people.
My work is aimed at educated people who want to build their own proof that stress is driving symptoms and learn practical tools to restore calm.
